5 hour walk up to top of ridge with view down to the Alm below, returning by the long MTB route that arrives at the start of Neusach. Weather dry but overcast and cold, below 10.
Trainspotting
Up early so we can all catch the 0830am train to Lienz, getting out at Greiffenburg. Shopping at Adeg. Whole day grey and overcast, raining by the rime we arrive. And cold!! No photos taken…..

Mamamon Thai
Maria Hilferstrasse: coffee at Cafe Westend, shopping for sewing machines and jeans, and after a short trip back to drop off the machine we rush to Mamamon, recommended Thai resto in Albertgasse, as the reservation only lasts until 8.
Wirthaus Steirerstöckl
Meet at Schopenhauer for coffee, then meet at the Wirthaus with Trude, Christina, Mungo. Cold when the sun moves on, despite being a completely sunny day. I walk back through Schloss Pötzleinsdorf, past Türkenschanz, to Cafe Schopenhauer again.
