Take chair lift with Trude at midday when warmest. Walk round the old berry path, now very berryless, and arrive at the relatively busy Alm, due to close on Monday until Christmas. Each gulaschsuppe, then head down in cooler weather as overcast. I walk for last time on south bank back. Dinner at Trude’s where she teaches essential German words (deppich, Trottel, schleichen….).<\/p>\n\n\n
